Input field forgets its RTL status

Hello Nightwish
it started to happen recently for me so i think it's a regression
but it may be just an embarrassing misconfiguration on my part:

containers that open automatically (minimized, when a msg is received) always open with the input field set with LTR direction
so i usually have to press Ctrl+RightShift to right align it

i specifically wrote "containers that open automatically" because containers that I open manually (by double clicking on a contact) open just fine - the input field is set to the correct directionality (either RTL or LTR depending on the contact)

i am using  tabsrmm.dll v.3.0.0.3 [30 Aug 2009] - TabSRMM |Unicode aware|

Thanks,
PROGAME

REQ: Disable drag to resize

Hey Nightwish  :)
you never commented on my "Disable drag to resize" option feature request
and since i've read clist nicer was updated a bit...

so i am reposting in a desperate attempt to get it reconsidered  ::)

Quote
My request is for a "Disable drag to resize" option right next to the "Disable drag and drop of items".

With the scroll bar of most windows (a browser for example) being so close to the corner of the screen where my Miranda usually is, i often resize Miranda's window by mistake...

do i have an alternative to not using the symbols?
maybe something in the form of not using auto RTL somehow?

1. my incoming/outgoing symbols are red and green X symbols

2. i am not sure how to recreate it but there is a bug involving a blinking tab icon not stopping to blink after the tab is focused.

i guess my bug hunting days are over for now as i no longer have the time to figure out what triggers every misbehavior...  :-\

so writing a simple question mark will be RTL as it is the default and under the minimum of characters needed to decide
...although "?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ??" "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"  "@@@@@@@@@@" "$$$$$$$$$$" etc. should use the default alignment too as sings can be RTL and moving lines in a conversation around for no reason is annoying

i am still not sure if there is a way to return to the old mode (i rather have the  advanced formatting, but i can't find a way to cancel the new auto bidi)

anyway, i am sure the next version will clear all confusions on my side
thank you for your help and constant strive to make TabSRMM perfect for everybody :) (msg splitting? skins?  who would have thought :P

since updating to build #59 my container menu is white
my incoming/outgoing backgrounds are messed up, and after reseting the templates they are now gone, it's all white... (still looks good in the template set editor window preview)

add the auto bidi problems mentioned here
http://www.miranda.or.at/forums/index.php/topic,1184.10.html
and everything is just too messy for me

i think i need some guidance about how to solve this, i got home too exhausted to deal with this myself i guess

Auto-BiDi is not for me
lines are moved around from RTL to LTR for no reason
it's buggy...
2 Hebrew letters and a question mark are LTR and 3 Hebrew letters and a question mark are LTR

and even if it wasn't buggy...i think i prefer my log aligned to one side... a msg with a simple question mark shouldn't be LTR, a question mark is good for Hebrew too

any way to disable this? couldn't find one

i have a small request for the time the development of CList_nicer is resumed:
add a tooltip for the tray online notification.
if it's not too hard...because when my list is minimized, i find myself rushing to get to the blinking smiley in the tray with my cursor to see who is it...but no tooltip pops up

i am guessing that i do that because my last CList (_mw) behaved that way and i think the official client did too.

just had to get that written, i might not remember to write it next time i am home  :)

Actually I already deleted loadavatarsW as part of an unrelated cleanup, just didn't connect it to the double entry being fixed. So that was it :)

I am not using the latest nightly because of the genmenu development
I will delete the extra menu order entries just for the sake of having a clean db :)

Thanks for your help, I follow TabSRMM's development every time I am at home
That's one of the things I hadn't given up on :)

If i play with that option a bit (unhide it- apply, hide it- apply, unhide it....) soon that option has no affect

The delete button of available view modes is on even when there are no view modes.
The add button is still on even if you already deleted what you wrote in the textbox (where you write the name of the mode you want to add)

What is statisch under Configure view modes->Sticky contacts?

Under Miranda IM Options>Contact List->List->Groups

The first 4 options are covering each other a bit ("Draw a line..." is covering the top of the Fs and Hs of "Show counts...", "Hide group counts..." is covering the tips of the G and P letters in the last word of "Show counts..." and part of the checkmark of "Sort groups...")

BTW
I used to see twice the item Contact picture... in the Menu Order Options and the contact menu itself
i had to enable\disable both of them in the Menu Order Options page in order to make them appear disappear
and the weird thing is that in the database i could only find it once
anyway it is solved now
could be related to the dbtool i used

I just started using this great plugin (only now i realized you incorporated multiwindow into it, Doh! )
i learned its features and stuff....i love it!
but now i have many setting folders in the database which i probably don't need because i don't use MW anymore...
can you mark the ones i can safely delete if i use CList_Nicer+ and not some other CList?
here are the folders i am not sure about:
AVS_settings
CLC
CLCExt
CList
CListGroups
CLUI
CLUIFrames
CLVM_W
Contact Menu_Items
ContactMenu_Items
ContactPhoto
Group Menu_Items
GroupMenu_Items
Main Menu_Items
MainMenu_Items
StatusMenu_Items
UserOnline

what a great improvement it is to move from the buggy _MW to this  ;D

since this multisend behavior isn't new, instead of fixing .95pre7 you can simply try it with clist classic and see the difference... with the fix it can only improve
