Would it be possible to integrate Smiley support for the Input Area, so that when you type it is immediatly replaced?
I saw this feature on the original msn program and find it a nice idea, would be great if it could works also with tabsrmm.

The other feature which I want is that when chatting with a msn contact, that somewhere in the window his man name would be displayed, because many people write there away message there in an it is ugly to search every time in the contact profile to see that.

PS: Really great work that plugin, I'm now using it for a long long time and I'm still satisfied!!

Possible yes. but I consider it a unneeded feature. The amount of work to implement it doesn't justify the little (to none) benefit. So don't expect it.

I'am also not sure what you mean with "msn name". tabSRMM displays the nickname given by the protocol, nothing more.

Note that I consider tabsrmm complete for a 1.0 release. No new features will be added for a while.

I have a friend on msn and the name I gave to her in the contact list ist for example:

"name"

but when i go to user details / summary there stands:

"name...mathe lernen!!!!!!!!!"

that is the name I would like to have display somewhere, perhaps on the status bar.

Then you shouldn't rename her. The message dialog always takes the name shown on the contact list.

People are stupid enough to write their status message in their nickname, that's it. At all cost, ignore these kinds of people. ;)

But on msn, there is no other possibilty to write a status message, you can go on away or na mode or all the others but that changes only the icon, there is no message you can put in like on the icq network.

@Nightwish
Yeah, but when I add someone I have to create a name and I don't find where I can tell icq to get the actual name every time.
