I did some searches on the forum but didn't find the answer i was looking for.

I am using the multiple tabs in one container, but when I get a new message from somebody the start menu blinks and I like that but I would also like the nameon the taskbar to display the name of the person I got the message from.   I guess it would stand to reason that the task bar shows the name from the active tab in the container, but when I get a new message, can I have it switch to that tab while still minimized so I can see that persons name in the taskbar?

It just kinda sucks to have an active tab with PersonA and minimize the window, get a message from PersonB but the taskbar blinks as if I have a message from PersonA.

Seems like there is a simple solution I am missing...

Thanks in advance

This seems to be "Automatically Switch tabs in Minimized Containers" but you have to minimize the container in order for it to work...if you just put it in the background doesn't work :(

Main Menu -> Options -> Message window -> Tabs and layout -> Message tab and window creation options -> Automatically switch tabs in minimized containers.

If you look closely you can see the person who's typing in the taskbar, the title changes to 'whoever' is typing a message when 'whoever' is writing to you. I don't think the taskbar can switch to the name of the person who wrote to you because it would be fairly impossible to decide which to show if more than one contact wrote you messages.

It only works for minimized containers and there are no plans to change this behaviour (there are reasons for it which I already gave).
