would be nice having this option in jabber conferences, instead of checking each user's vCard separately.

i hope it's not totally impossible/unwanted and someday, somehow will be implemented. (even only in tooltip would be ok, if it's easier)

It's not a planned feature, because protocols do not support avatars for group chats.
