show/hide container with shortcut |
May 18, 2010, 19:11:03
Thanks to developer a lot for such briliant plugins! Thanks for your time and efforts!

In other icq clients I don't like use mouse to show container with dialogues – in Miranda standart shortcut acts for readin incoming message only.
When there is no incoming message I'm clickin on clist or
on button in taskbar and anable to show default container with shortcut.

A hotkey plugin doesn't help b'cause there are no service to show container
(I've check this out by aaaaServicesList.dll).
+Container window doesn't have specific class.

How is this possible that so many programmers use Miranda
but not use keyboard instead of mouse to show so frequent used window with dialogues?

Thank You.

Alrady possible. There is a global shortcut Ctrl-Shift-R which will cycle (in reverse order) through tabs/windows with unread messages. If there are none, it will toggle the visibility of the last active message window.

In TabSRMM 3, the shortcut is customizable, in version 2, it is not and you need to enable the global hotkey option under Options->Message sessions.

It did exist for years in TabSRMM. It's one of the lesser known features though.

My actions:
• incoming message
• I'm using shortcut to show message window.
• the message icon in the systray is still flashing.
• I've sent new message
• the message icon in the systray is still flashing...
Is there a way to stop the icon from flashing in sistray without clicking it with mouse?

Interesting is that I should click in sistray as many times as many messages I've received.

I'am not seeing this. This also depends on the contact list plugin.

You can stop TabSRMM from flashing the tray icon at all by:

1) enable its own tray icon (Options->Message Session->Event notifications)
2) Disabling Options->Message Sessions->General->Always flash on contact list...

Thanks.
I've replaced clist_modern.dll by clist_nicer.dll and things are the same.
Maybe it's in the core?

You can stop TabSRMM from flashing the tray icon

I don't wanna have 2 icons for 1 software in the tray.

I don't wanna have 2 icons for 1 software in the tray.
Well, then it's probably not possible to achieve the desired effect. You can let Windows hide the icon, if not needed, for example.

But even without the icon, I do not see tray flashing, except for new messages when no message window is open (and this is standard behavior anyway).
