Code:
Version 3.0.0.35 - 2010/05/29
[..]
* autoclose tabs: converted to a more useful autoclose/autohide container
feature and moved to container options.
[..]
I really really miss that function (Autoclose TABS after Xmin inactivity in THAT tab)
Please re-instate it! It is very useful for people who never turn off their computers.

Please! :)
Thanks!

Removed or changed features will not come back. I said that often enough and there won't be any exception. Seriously, I do not have that much time to waste to delete the code and then rewrite it :)

The new method is far more useful.

I'll have to disagree, badly.. Sorry :)
The new function closes the whole window, and I don't think that a chat is finished after lets say 1 hour, or even one day. Before I auto-closed tabs after 48h of inactivity. It worked like a charm, had full control over all 'active offline chats'.
I find the new close container rather meaningless actually. :s

btw, I'm using version 3.1.99.3.

Even though old code is deleted or changed I suppose old versions are in the GIT or whatever is used.

I might be able to rewrite the code though.. :p

Disagree or not, my policy is to not revert such changes.

The new version of that feature offers a lot more usability and if you combine it with the hidden container feature and the session list, it's also easier to use. No need to re-open tabs, thus closed containers will open a lot faster and auto-hide gets them off screen when they were inactive for a while.

You may find the old code still in the SVN and use it to produce a personal patch for your own use, but I'm not going to change this in the official version.
