hey

is it just me, or does the clist nicer bugs forum not increase your post count?  (eg when you post in there)

is this on purpose? or a mistake?

i mean it doesn't really matter :) but i was just curious.

Because post counts are just a useless number which really doesn't mean anything. I would disable them completely if the forum software would allow it (easily).

it couldn't be that hard to disable it in the ~10 forums you have..
i guess people would still have it next to their name.

I remember post counts not being shown in the threads/posts next to each persons name at one time at www.dune2k.com forum.
But it is back on, after forum software updates I suppose. It uses the same forum software (the site admin "Gobalopper" is actually a SMF mod developer).

I'm sure if you asked at the forum for SMF you would get an answer.
From what I can tell it should be disabled in the admin section..
When I did a simple search at the forum, I came up with a good thread:

BTW they are up to 1.0.6 now :P
(1.1 betas looks good as well which is used at Fed2k)
